Centre for Global Wood Security

I am a Ph.D. student engaged in comprehensive conservation planning research based on a biogeographical perspective. I have integrated bird habitat databases in China based on public data and study the following issues: 1) Research on the impact of species habitats and species endangerment mechanisms under global change; 2) Research on the impact of land use conversion and conservation planning from a policy perspective; 3) Research on wildlife conservation policies and laws; 4) Research on other effective regional conservation measures (OECMs) represented by farmland/cities.

Regarding forest ecosystems, ongoing research focuses on the impacts of China's large-scale plantation expansion and natural forest loss over the past few decades on the area, species richness, and habitat landscape pattern of forest birds.
