About
I am a postdoctoral researcher based at the Centre of Global Wood Security, University of Cambridge. My PhD was based at Sichuan University, China, focusing on how photosynthetic carbon assimilation drives phenological shifts (spring leaf-out, autumn senescence) in Northern Hemisphere forests under warming climates. I am broadly interested inspecies distribution dynamics and zoonotic disease risks. I developed methods to created risk assessment frameworks for avian influenza hotspots using entropy-based modeling. My current work focuses on the threat of pests and diseases to forests and the ecosystem services they provide, including timber, carbon, and biodiversity.
