About
I am a tropical forest ecologist and botanist who has worked across tropical Asia on forest conservation, restoration, and sustainable land-use systems. My interests include forest ecology, biomass estimation, agroforestry, restoration monitoring, and the resilience of forest landscapes under climate and land-use change. My current collaborative work focuses on how nature-based solutions can support sustainable financing for conservation, linking ecological science with policy, legal frameworks, and practical implementation on the ground. Through my work with BirdLife International and ConservationLinks, I collaborate with communities, NGOs, governments, and the private sector across Asia to support biodiversity conservation, resilient landscapes, and sustainable livelihoods.
