Centre for Global Wood Security

I am a lecturer at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria, and a Commonwealth Scholar pursuing an MSc in Tropical Forestry at Bangor University, UK. My research harnesses LiDAR and multispectral imagery to model forest health, wood quality, and carbon stocks in tropical forests, addressing timber sustainability and illegal logging. With expertise in wood science, I blend cutting-edge remote sensing with laboratory and field insights to develop tools for forest management. At the Centre for Global Wood Security, I aim to foster collaborative research and training to strengthen global conservation policies and build resilient tropical forest ecosystems.
